What We Believe
What We Believe
God
We believe in the one true and eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in nature, power, and glory.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, born of a virgin, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again.
John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirt convicts people of sin, brings about spiritual rebirth, indwells every believer, and empowers Christians to live godly lives and serve Christ.
John 16:8-13; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 5:22-23
Salvation
We believe all people are sinners and need salvation. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose bodily from the dead, making forgiveness and eternal life possible through Him. Salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through good works or religious efforts. Through salvation, believers are forgiven, made new in Christ, and given eternal life.
Romans 3:23; Romans 5:8; Acts 20:21; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 2:8–9; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4
We believe the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The church consists of all who have placed their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ for salvation. The purpose of the church is to glorify God. This purpose is lived out through worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, and fellowship. The mission of the church is to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, equip believers for ministry, and establish churches that continue this mission.
The Church
Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42; Colossians 1:18
The Autonomy of the Local Church
We believe each local church is an independent, self-governing body of believers under the authority of Jesus Christ and His Word. Each church is responsible for its own leadership, ministry, and mission.
Acts 14:23; Acts 20:28; Colossians 1:18; 1 Peter 5:2-3
Baptism and the Lord's Supper
We believe baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances established by Jesus Christ. Together, these ordinances proclaim His death, burial, and resurrection. Baptism is a public declaration of faith that symbolizes a believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and the new life we have in Him. The Lord’s Supper remembers His sacrifice and proclaims His death until He returns. Neither ordinance provides salvation.
Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
Christian Living
We believe every believer is called to live a life of holiness, love, obedience, and service to God, growing in spiritual maturity through Scripture, prayer, fellowship and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-25; 1 Peter 1:15-16
We believe every believer in Jesus Christ is called to share the gospel and make disciples. The church is responsible for equipping believers, developing leaders, and multiplying churches locally and around the world.
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; 2 Timothy 2:2
We believe every believer in Jesus Christ is called to share the gospel and make disciples. The church is responsible for equipping believers, developing leaders, and multiplying churches locally and around the world.
Eternity
We believe Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be raised, and all people will face God's judgment. Those who have trusted in Christ will enjoy eternal life with God, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from Him.
John 3:16-18; John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15

Local leaders. Local churches. Global mission.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily living.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; Peter 1:20-21
